Mary Ellen Griswold

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Louise Strickland, brother Leon Thompson and children Karen Griswold and James Griswold.

She is survived by daughter Kathy Whatley, sons Ernest (Bud) Griswold Jr. and wife Kimberly, Dale Griswold and wife Melanie, grandchildren Alba Soukup and husband Randy, Jason O'Bannon and wife Cathy, Aaron Griswold and wife Brandi, Casey Jones and husband Greg, Tiffani Griswold, Ashley Griswold Barajas and husband Jake, Marissa Allen and husband Justin and Travis Griswold, twelve great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Edward Thompson and wife Barbara and sister Wanda Tadlock and husband Joseph and numerous nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.

A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, February 4th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas. Funeral services will also be Saturday, February 4th at 2:00pm at Metcalf Funeral Directors. Internment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas at approximately 4pm. A Funeral Reception at Good Shepherd Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 300 Church St, Shepherd, Texas will follow.
