Megan attended and graduated from Klein Collins High School before attending Lone Star and Austin Community Colleges.
Megan was a vibrant spirit, full of life, laughter, and love. She had an infectious sense of humor, and her playful nature never failed to bring joy to everyone around her. There was never a dull moment with her — whether she was playing her guitar, pulling a hilarious practical joke, or simply sharing a laugh with those she loved.
Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met, and she never met a stranger. To know her was to love her — and love her, we did. Her biggest pride and joy were her niece and nephews, whom she adored and cherished. As an aunt, sister, daughter, and friend, she was unparalleled, offering a love that was deep, unwavering, and full of light.
She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and memories that will continue to fill our hearts. Megan may no longer be with us, but she will forever live on in our hearts through the music she loved, the jokes she told, and the warmth she shared.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Jim and Carolyn Jones and paternal grandparents Dorothy Fowler and Jack and Barbara Fowler. Megan is survived by her parents Edgar and Diana Fowler, sisters Ashley Fowler and Natalie Young, brother in law Richard Young, niece and nephews Zoey Young, Zeke Young and Evan Yazbeck, partner Lindsey Williams and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Megan’s life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Cashner Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow services in Cashner Funeral Home’s Oak Hall.
