Melody Luann Gensheimer

If you know Melody, she fought the entire 18 months with a smile on her face wanting to be a witness to those she met and also knowing that she would one day be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven

Melody was born to Harry and Ferris Ashworth on November 8, 1962 in Tulsa Oklahoma.

She was survived by her spouse who adored her, Mark Gensheimer, her son Evan Murta, her daughter Haley Esche, her stepdaughter Paris Gensheimer, her stepson David Gensheimer, her Grand children Aria, Ella, Olivia, Beckham, JP (John Philip) and Leona. She also is survived by her two older sisters Cyndy Ellis and Alicia Alvis and her brother, Monte Ashworth.

Melody loved to travel with Mark, but more than that she loved to spend time with her daughter Haley getting their nails done, doing facials, and just taking care of herself. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

After Melody found out that she had a brain tumor, she only asked the Lord to live long enough to see her last three grandchildren born which she did.

There are not many people who love to stay in touch with old friends and co-workers, but Melody could tell you about so many friends and what was going on with them and their families. As we mourn the loss of Melody, we also praise God that we know that she is in heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
