Michael David Gorney

Mike loved his family more than anything. He loved spending time with his girls. He loved to take them fishing, to the beach and being with his friends. Mike was a member of Pin Oak Baptist Church where he was baptized and gave his heart to the Lord.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Rufus Gorney and niece, Ashley Gorney. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Barbara Gorney, 3 beautiful daughters, Amber Nicole Gorney, Emily Ann Gorney and Sarah Raylin Gorney, mother, Theresa H. Gorney, brother, Curtis Gorney and wife Melissa. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jesse Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers will be Jay Sarmiento, Brian Peterson, Curtis Gorney, Zachary Gorney, Dennis Dunn and Timothy Pierce.
