Michael R. Korhonen, age 53, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. He was born October 14th, 1963 in Superior, Wisconsin to Donald “Don” and Yvonne (Hall) Korhonen. He worked in computer informatics at Exxon. Michael enjoyed music, animals, friends and family. He is survived by his mother; Yvonne (Hoot) Korhonen-Gibson, sister; Diana (Mark) Shepard, daughter Ashley Korhonen and son, Justin (Felicia) Korhonen. Also survived by his grandchildren Bryce, Natalie, Mylie, Arianna, and Justin Jr., many nieces and nephews and great nieces.
