He served in the Navy during WW2 in the Asian Pacific on the USS Gandy and lived a long and healthy life, residing in Conroe, Texas with his wife Lisa Sims and Crysta Odom, his niece.
Mo is survived by his sons Moquin Sims Jr. (Sharon) of Porter, Texas, Mike Sims (Terri) of Montgomery, Texas and daughters Cindy Sims Parker (Billy) of The Woodlands, Texas and Pam Sims Williams (Larry) of McKinney, Texas.
Mo was predeceased by his son Mark Sims (Cherri) of Plano, Texas, his father Joe Sims of Odessa, Texas, his mother Ela Martin of Ranger, Texas and brothers Maurice Sims and Sylvestia Sims (Annie) of Odessa, Texas and granddaughter Starla McWilliams.
Mo is also survived by his many grandchildren, Scott Grey, Sony Graves, Brian Sims, Michael Erwin, Kari Zella (Scott), Mark Erwin, Sherry Taber, Marty Sims, Kami Ellis, Shannon Harris, Shara Putska, Michael Sims, Cody Sims, Becca Miller, Tricia Tate, Ashlee Smith, Aaron Williams, Caleb Williams and Lauren Durbin along with his many great grandchildren that he loved very much.
Please join us for a celebration of life for Mo Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas with a visitation one hour prior.
