She married Philip E. Davies, had 6 children and she attended St. Peter the Apostle Church with her family.
In 1972, Monte moved to the home she loved in Conroe. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, attending Mass daily after she retired until her illness kept her home, but she continued to watch Mass daily. She was active in Catholic Daughters, ACTS retreats and the sewing club. Monte lived a life of prayer and gratitude, with her fingers moving over her rosary beads till the end.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, husband Phil of 56 years, son Stephen, daughter Julie, granddaughter Victoria and countless other family and friends she loved. Monte is survived by her loving children, John Davies, Kay Davies, Jean Blum, Leah Davies, her grandchildren Jason Davies, Richard Blum, Megan Davies, Christian Davies, Harrison Davies, Philip Davies and Amy Blum, her great grandchildren Finn Davies, Rynmond Davies, Shinkai Davies, Maeve Davies and May Lyn Davies.
A Funeral Mass will be held when Monte’s children, grandchildren and their families can gather for a celebration of her life.
