We are neighbors right next door to Dean and Judy. We consider it a blessing to have known and lived with our wonderful neighbors. Our recent most memory was reinstalling our mailboxes together. This became a joint neighbor effort. Mr. Dean, as we call him, was always ready and willing to jump in and work on anything he could. We share many outdoor memories daily as Mr. Dean would go to his workshop daily, often we could share 5 minutes saying hello, and he was always quick to share his memories and experiences. Our kids have enjoyed many conversations with Mr. Dean and Ms. Judy. Since his passing, our kids have shared with us many times they have had in conversing and getting advice from them. As is stated, “it takes a community to raise a child”, Mr. Dean and Ms. Judy have helped in raising ours. We are so thankful for their friendship and the blessing for them to be a significant part of our lives. We will all miss Mr. Dean, but he lives on in our memories and our hearts. 

Psalm 73:26  “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever”. 


Any visit with Nathan Dean (Uncle Dean) was always special. Whether it was drinking Delaware Punch in Bedias, hunting snakes on the funny farm, searching Indian ruins in New Mexico or visiting old cemeteries in Texas, Dean always had a story for the occasion. I’m sure he enjoyed enrichening our lives with his vast knowledge (of just about everything) as much as we enjoyed his company.
Nathan Dean was a special guy, we already miss him.
And, always carry a $2 bill . . .


Judy, and Dean's family we are so sorry for the passing of Dean.  We haven't known one another a long time but the time that we have it has been a pleasure knowing you.  Every time I called and Dean answered the phone and I asked where Judy was he would always say"that mean woman I ran her off no let me go get her"  Of course this was Dean's sense of humor which he had . .  He will be missed by his family and Judy for sure because they were very close.   Love y'all and will be there for you to help wherever we can.
 May God comfort all of your family and see you through the tough times ahead.
