Nathanael Marshall

Nathanael “Nat” Marshall, 74, of Cut and Shoot, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 26th, 2021 at his home with loving wife Sharon by his side. He was born on June 26th, 1947 in San Augustine, Texas to the late Cleve Marshall and Bonnie Fay Williams.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cleo Marshall, Ann Mercon and Cleta Vaco; brothers, Cleve “Junior” Marshall and Timothy “Tim” Marshall.

Nat is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon Ann Marshall; children, Charlene Ashby and her husband, Rodney Ashby of Conroe, TX; Amanda Adams and her husband, Steve Adams of Huntsville, TX; grandchildren, Callie Ashby, Paige Field, Donovan Field, Jaycelyn Ashby, Cailyn Ashby, Jayden Ashby, Bowe Adams, and Gauge Adams; sister, Fay Willis; brothers, Jack, Ricky, and Glenn Marshall.

Nat served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in the 5th Division for 2 years earning the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and other accommodations. He was a beloved family man that enjoyed camping, hunting, boating, fishing, and teaching his grandchildren life’s lessons. Nat also loved serving GOD where he pastored the Cut and Shoot church for a short time, and supported many others over the years.

Visitation will be from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Saturday, January 8th, 2021 at Cashner Funeral Home (Conroe, TX) immediately followed by memorial services officiated by Pastor Tommy Lockler, and burial officiated by Pastor Phil Martin Jr. Flowers can be received on Friday, January 7th, for service on Saturday.
