Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Robbie Earl Biggs, son Tommy, daughters Toye Suzette, Kerri Ann and granddaughter Kristie Biggs. In addition, her father and mother, Johnnie Wesley, Sr. and Grace Koonce Breazeale, siblings: John Jr., Hugh (Dobbin), Rayford (Ray), Wilmer Ben (WB), half siblings: Mary Chebret, JoAnn Shannon, Rodney Breazeale.
Peggy is survived by special nephew and niece Mike and Debbie Breazeale, half-brother Joel Breazeale, numerous nieces and nephews and many other family members.
Peggy lived in the Manchester area where she attended Milby High School. Also, the place where she met the love of her life, Robbie Biggs.
At age 18, Peggy went to work in the banking industry in Houston and later Conroe. She spent nearly half a century in banking before electing to retire.
During her time in Conroe, Peggy was involved with charitable organizations supporting the community. She joined the Conroe Chapter of American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) where she held the position of president for one year. Her and Robbie would participate in local BBQ Cook-offs focused on raising funds for youth scholarships
After retiring they opened Harts Creek Marina and Restaurant on Lake Livingston. Peggy loved meeting, socializing and cooking for the locals. She would always get a domino game started so that she could show off her skills.
She never met a stranger. No manner where you went, she would start up a conversation with others and share life stories. It never failed that they would find something or someone in common.
Later in life, Peggy moved into an Assisted Living in Kingwood. It did not take long for her to meet new friends and become engaged in the activities. She enjoyed playing dominos, bingo and numerous other games. Peggy loved listening to the Astros, especially Altuve.
In honoring Peggy’s request, a graveside service only will be held at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023 at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local non-profit of your choice.
