Peggy Jeanne Wilcox

Peggy was born in Beaumont, TX on September 23, 1929, to William and Vaughnie James. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wallace Wilcox, sister Mae Alice Johnson, and brother Johnny James. She is survived by sisters Patricia Ann Herrin and Lee Ella Scott as well as her children: David Wilcox, Vaughnie McNeil and husband Clarence, Shirley Tovar, Cynthia Jones and husband Terry, Barbara LaTour, and Steven Wilcox and wife Wanda.

Known as "Memaw" to her 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and

3 great great grandchildren, Peggy enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her loved ones and researching her family history.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th at Metcalf Funeral Directors in Conroe, TX followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 20th. Peggy will be interred with her husband at Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, May 22nd.
