

Philip Gigliotti, a proud veteran of the US Air Force, passed away on December 24, 2024. The son of Carmen and Elva, Phil was born on March 19, 1935, in White Plains, NY, and spent his childhood in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York.
At 19, Philip joined the Air Force and arrived at Lincoln, NE, AFB, the same day the first B47 bombers arrived, December 6, 1954. After marrying the love of his life, Barbara, in July 1956, Phil was deployed two months later to North Africa for a 12-month assignment at Ben Guerir, Morocco. Upon exiting the Air Force, Phil was a staff sergeant.
Phil graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1962, started a distinguished career in corporate purchasing at Ford Motor Company, and retired from Navistar, previously known as International Harvester, now known as International Motors. Between his career in the Air Force and corporate America, he enjoyed traveling abroad and was fortunate to visit 25 countries. Even closer to his heart, Philip was a doting husband and a loving father to six children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In addition to actively participating in his children's sports activities as a coach or exuberant cheerleader, he was also a dedicated volunteer for church ministries and school board duties.
Predeceased by his wife, Phil is survived by his children Lori (Ken) Priddy, Scott (Cheri) Gigliotti, Diane (Jeff) Kruse, Gail Blackstone, Tom (Geri) Gigliotti, and Lynn (John) Marzullo.
A funeral mass honoring Philip's life will be held on Friday, February 14, at 1:30 PM at Sacred Heart Church, 109 North Frazier Street, Conroe, TX. Flowers may be arranged through Carter's Florist, 1416 S Frazier St, Conroe, TX, www.txcarters.com. An inurnment service will take place Saturday, February 15, at 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX.
