Phillip Bruce Garrison passed away unexpectedly on Friday Morning, October 28, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 3, 1941. He was a man of many talents, strong opinions and a world traveler, who cared deeply for family and treasured friends. Phil served our country in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam era, in the US Sub-Service aboard different boats and wherever needed. Afterwards, his work as a consultant took him and Bess to many assignments all over the US, Canada and abroad. He was never happier than when debating political issues with friends, at a Texas Hold’em table or on a luxury cruise.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Bessie Martin Garrison; Son, Kenneth Caldwell and wife Carla of Manvel, Texas; one granddaughter, Keena and husband Jason of Georgia; grandsons, Daniel, Alex, Brian, Jake, Jason and Jaryl all of the Manvel area; three great granddaughters and one great grandson; also surviving are extended family, mother in-law, Bessie Martin, George and Wanda, Doug and Dana, James and Maureen, Halbert and Kathy and their families. “When you look into water, you see your face.
