Richard worked for the Conroe YMCA for over ten years and then the City of Conroe for more than 15 years. While he was working at the Y, he retired from
the Air National Guard after 33 years’ service.
His parents Turner Butler and Margie Hill preceded Richard in death.
Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Katherine Hill; his son Phillip Hill; and his son Patrick Hill; his sister-in-law Wanda Eldridge Rivera, his half-sister Tina West
and his half-brother Randy Hill; his grandchildren Noah, Brittany, and Christian Hill. Numerous other family members and a host of friends are also left to treasure
his memory.
A celebration of life for Richard will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Cook Springs Baptist Church, 1936A St Hwy TX-75N, Huntsville, Texas.
Following the celebration of life will be a graveside service and interment at 2:00 PM at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas.
