Robbie Manning Cranford

Robbie Manning Cranford of Conroe passed away July 24th,2016 at the age of 68 following a courageous, ten year battle with cancer. She was born September 29,1947 to Jack and Mary Manning, grew up in the Russell community and was a 1965 graduate of Buffalo High School. She attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, and in 1974 met and married Roger Cranford and spent her entire adult life in Conroe. She began her career in insurance in the 70’s and was still working in insurance at the time of her death. She was a member of the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas serving as both President and Executive Director. Robbie spent the last four years working for the Ashley General Agency in Conroe in the Marketing Dept. She had a contagious, caring personality and traveled extensively with FIWT making many lifelong friends. Robbie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger Cranford. She is survived by daughters, Jennifer and Scott Pelczar of Conroe and Kim and Jessie Daricek of Gatesville, grandson, Trent Daricek, sister Amy and Bill Kent of Russell, niece, Marcy and Javier Martinez of Austin, nephew Chad and Stacy Kent of Buffalo, and the great joys of her life, great niece and nephew, Tiffany and Briar Kent. Visitation will be on Friday, July 29th, from 5-8 at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe and funeral services will be Saturday, July 30th at 10:00 at the funeral home.
