

Robert Edward Flowers “Eddie”, of Conroe, Texas born on September 16th 1949 passed away Sunday May 24th 2015. He was at home surrounded by family and friends. Eddie and his family moved to Texas in 1975 from Muncie, Indiana. He worked for Halliburton for 38 years as a Senior Programmer, and had recently retires. Eddie is now reunited with his son, James Edward Flowers “Little Eddie” who died in 2007, his mother Maxine Antrim, his father Robert Lee Flowers, and his brother James Dale Flowers. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Cheryl Ann Flowers, his daughter Michele Sherer, son in law Gary Sherer , and his best friend a Chihuahua named Macey, and numerous other family and friends. Eddie loved old cars, but it had to be a ford. He had bought his dream car, a 1959 Ford Fairlane that was to be his retirement project. He collected Ford model cars and just about anything that had the word Ford on it. Although he was a man of few words you knew exactly where you stood with his. People remember him for his kindness and he loved his family dearly. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3:00pm at Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas.
