Born February 19, 1934, in Houston Texas, Russell Clyde Mitchell peacefully went on to be with his Lord and savior Jesus on December 30th, 2021.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years Nell M. Mitchell, son Russell W. Mitchell and wife Angela Mitchell, son Gregory S. Mitchell and wife Robin Mitchell, along with 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Calvin Mitchell, 3 sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and a friend to all.

A graveside interment service for Russell will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303.
