Ruth Elizabeth Pack

Ruth Elizabeth Pack was born August 31, 1920 in Martin Springs, Tennessee and passed away June 24, 2018 at the age of 97. Ruth was a vibrant person that enjoyed life to the fullest. Her family was the most important part of her life. She enjoyed teaching children and raising her family. Ruth also had a love for Christ as she attended the Episcopal Church. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, David Tate and Jennie Lou (Ladd) Tate; husband, Dewey Pack; children, Wynette Pack and Janice Dixon; grandson, Mark Goss; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Patricia Dearing; grandchildren, Jonathan Dixon, Trevor Mills, Vicki Tate and Donna Goss; great-grandchildren, Mark Goss, Patrick Goss, Austin Goss, Mason Dixon, Marilyn Dixon, Dylan Tate, Matthew Tate, Kayla Mills and Branwen Shelton; great-great grandchildren, Carson Codner, Rebecca Codner, Kodi Goss, Colton Goss, Gunnar Goss, Kyree Carrington, Rylee Carrington and Baron Shelton. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 5-7pm. The Celebration of Life service will be Friday, June 28, 2018 in the Cashner Colonial Chapel at 11am with Pastor Merle Blado officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery in Humble, Texas at 2pm.
