Ruth Lillian Scott

Ruth was a very sweet and kind woman, a great (the best) mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Conroe Bible Church where she enjoyed venturing out with the Women’s ministries. She loved watching soap operas, daytime game shows and the DIY channel. Her other hobbies were playing solitaire and reading novels. She also enjoyed cruising.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Leon “Scotty” Scott, son-in-law Walter Lassise, her parents and one grandchild.

Ruth leaves behind her children John Davis, Jeffery Davis and wife Kimmie, William Davis and wife Vermelie, and Diane Lassise; grandchildren Matt Eakle and wife Lauren Eakle, Joe Eakle, Kandy Colombe and husband Curtis, Krystal Stone, Carrie Windsor, Yzabel Tomon, Matt Reeder and Desiree Reeder and Terry Reeder, Jr.; great grandchildren Roman Eakle, Kyle Bearer, Hunter Stone, Zariah Reeder, Juan Ortiz, Brandon, Arianna and Alayna Reeder, Michael Baca, Matthew Reeder, Jr. and half-sisters Joy Arnold and Mary Ann Katz and many others.

A Celebration of Ruth’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Cashner Funeral Home with a reception to follow.
