Sandra "Sandy" Lucille Sallas

Sandra was born in Houston, Texas to Thurman and Audrey Posey on June 26, 1954 and was rewarded with her crown in Heaven on August 28, 2024. Sandra loved her family and loved spending time with them. She also loved children and was called a baby whisperer by many. She was very caring and sharing and would help anyone, including total strangers. You could often find her outside on a swing because she loved the sunshine on her face and the wind in her hair. Sandra had a true passion for life.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Audrey Posey; sisters, Deborah Steiner and Lisa Veasy; and her nephew Kyle Andrew Roberson.

Sandra was survived by her daughters, Melissa Mason and husband Jimmy, Torie Santos and husband Jamie; sons, Alvin Sallas and Kent Sallas; siblings, Dwain Posey and wife Linda, Stacey Walton and husband Tracy, and Rodney Posey and wife Leticia; brother-in-law, James Veasy; grandchildren, Shannon Mason, Blake Mason, Dallas Santos, and Dausen Santos; great grandchild, Blakely Mason; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Sandra is loved and will be missed by many.
