Sarah Renee Curry passed away on October 25, 2025, in Montgomery, Texas, at the age of 45. She was born on October 16, 1980, in Dallas, Texas. As a baby, she moved with her mother and brother to Houston Texas, where she spent her school-aged years to adulthood before moving with her mother and step father to Montgomery.
Sarah was loved by all for her gracious and gentle nature. Her Christian faith was a central part of her life, and she was known for her kindness to family, friends, and strangers. Sarah loved animals. She was good at caring for children and the elderly.
Sarah enjoyed spending time with her nieces, Hattie and Pearl Curry, and her good friend Erica’s daughter Kenzie. She prayed daily for their safety and health. Sarah was a great friend and listener, and she was a trusted confidant to many friends and family.
Sarah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents (Stephen and Regina Fridye), her paternal grandparents (Walter and Elsie Curry), her father (Richard Curry), and her stepfather (Edd Jordan). Sarah is survived by her mother (Shirley Jordan), stepmother (Jeanette Curry), stepbrother (David Kearby), sister (Juliette Curry), brother (Craig Curry), sister-in-law (Heather Curry), and nieces (Hattie and Pearl Curry).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cashner Funeral Home (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lone Star Cowboy Church (21627 Eva St, Montgomery, TX 77356). Before the service at Lone Star Cowboy Church, there is also a visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Garden Park Cemetery (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303).
