She is survived by her husband, Gene Colunga; Daughter, Michelle (Thomas) Watkins; Son, Robert (Camberlynd) Stadler III; Stepdaughters, Melissa (Ritchie) Adams, Esther Colunga and Ann (Lyle Tucker) Davis; Stepson, Jason (Melissa) Colunga; 7 grandchildren; extended family as well as her biological family that she found 4 years prior.
Shelly loved celebrating holidays by cooking huge meals and spending time with the family and her grandchildren. She also loved pictures of Eagles and wolves and had a huge love of animals while cats were her favorite. Shelly loved to travel and explore things such as the mountains in Colorado and taking long road trips. Shelly also loved her home state of Texas although she didn’t love the heat. Shelly loved going overboard when it came to being able to get Christmas presents for all of the kids, including her own, and watch their faces as they opened them on Christmas Day.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cashner Funeral Home Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The Address is 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas, 77303.
