Sherian Louise Scarberry, 77, of New Caney, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on August 28, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, Sherian was the daughter of Lloyd Mullens and Mary Katherine Davis. She was the devoted wife of the late Dennis “Jake” Scarberry.
Sherian was a proud and present mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Scarberry, Angela Anderson and husband Scott; beloved sisters, Teresa Mullens and Kaye Stamper and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael “Mike” Scarberry; her cherished grandson, Joseph Jenkins; her brothers, Lloyd Mullens and Larry Mullens; and her sister, Faye Weise.
Sherian was a Christian and a firm believer in Jesus Christ. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and anchoring her heart in love, patience, and grace. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her unwavering support of her family, and the warmth she extended to all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life for Sherian will be held Monday, July 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304.
