

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Naomi Cryer, 96, died in Crockett, Texas, November 12, 2012; a long time resident of Conroe, Texas since 1952. She resided in Winfield Nursing Home of Crockett, Texas for the last the and one-half years. A member of First Assembly of God Church in Conroe for sixty years, taught Sunday School and led Women's Ministry group for many years; received license to preach from the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1944.
Born in Wright City, Oklahoma August 23, 1916 to Dan and Mary Williams; adopted at 3 years old to grandparents John and Etta Bass.
Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Jimmie Cryer, her daughter, Deloris Pruett of Conroe, Texas, daughter-in-law, Karen Cryer of Pasadena, Texas; her sisters: Cleo Wilson of Tyler, Texas and Lela Rodgers of Lufkin, Texas.
Survivors: Daughter, Kathy Henson and husband Rev. Leroy Henson of Crockett, Texas; Son, Rev. Jerry Cryer of Pasadena, Texas and Son, Jim Cryer of Conroe, Texas; Son-in-law Delmer Pruett of Conroe, Texas. Eight Grandchildren: Carrie Brown and husband Steve of Parkersburg, WV; David Pruett of Eagle Lake, TX; Danny Pruett of Conroe, TX; Paul Cryer and wife Tracy of Houston,TX; Brandon Cryer of Angleton, TX; Regina Baldwin and husband Jon of Conroe, TX; Wesley Henson and wife Mandy of Conroe, TX; Leanne Henson of Crockett, TX and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
