Vera Alice Hayden

Vera was a long time member of The Ark Church in Conroe where she was devoted to worshiping her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed family gatherings and cooking for her family. Her joy in life was her grand and great grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a kind and loving woman with a witty sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hayden, children Adelbert Leo Hayden, Robert Lynn Hayden and Ronald Wayne Hayden, her parents Leo and Mary Jett, sisters Virginia Mott and Leoette Justice and brother Komar Jett, son-in-laws Robert Wayne Armstrong, and Dennis Craig Lohr, and daughter-in-laws Sharron Hayden and Sue Hayden. Vera is survived by her children Linda Armstrong, Timothy Ray Hayden, James David Hayden and wife Cecilia Gomez, and Cindy Hayden, 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services are planned for Monday, April 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe with burial to follow services in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.
