A beautiful soul who expressed her artistic abilities in theatre costume design as well as artwork and the written word, she was happiest drumming to the beat of her own drum. Victoria knew what she wanted and was pretty clear on how things should be done.
Victoria is mostly remembered for her amazing sense of humor and a gift which brought a sense of levity to her more painful circumstances. Diagnosed with a chronic disease at age 13, which required a bilateral lung transplant at age 21, she fought hard to live the best life, handling the circumstances with grace and dignity while keeping family, friends and the medical community amused with her wry jokes and quips.
Victoria was loved and gave love freely. She confronted and laughed in the face of mortality many times in her short time on earth, and can now breathe easy knowing she touched and impacted all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Angela Floyd, brother Geoffrey Daniel Floyd, his wife Maggie and son Ryan, and her beloved partner Logan Kade Arthur.
She was preceded in death by her sister Michealla Keenan Floyd, her Father Micheal Dean Floyd and her grandparents, Margaret Mc Bride, Scotland and grandfather Leonard Basil Floyd, Mississippi.
Loving donations can be made in memory of Victoria to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association - http://www.phassociation.org the disease which took so much of her teenage years.
She loved Alfred the cat and would appreciate donations to Conroe Animal shelter in her memory.
Celebration of Life will be held at 10am on Wednesday, October 30th, with Visitation scheduled for Tuesday evening 5pm - 8pm, at: Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe Tx, 77303.
