William "Bill" R. Bair

Memorial services for Bill Bair will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. David Lindwall officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:30pm at Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas 77303. Bill was born January 10, 1939 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Clarence and Vivian Bair and entered into rest on February 1, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Sherrell A. Bair of Montgomery, Texas; son, Rob and his wife Sam of Montgomery, Texas; daughter, Beth-Ann Bair of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Bair and Jared Bair. He is also survived by an Aunt and several cousins. Honorary pallbearers are Jared Bair, Robert Melton, Chris Melton, Duke Proctor, Jim Reagan, Richard Salinas, Ruben Sanchez and Dan Yeager. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Attn: Development Dept. Benefit of Leukemia dept, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Richard Baltz and his staff, Northwest Medical Center, 5th floor staff, Silverado Assisted Living and Dr. Garcia-Manero and his staff of the M.D. Anderson Leukemia dept for the dedicated and outstanding care provided to Bill during his long and courageous battle with leukemia.
