Wilma Sue Griffin

Wilma Sue Griffin was born in Stillwell, Oklahoma, on September 14, 1934 and went to sleep in Jesus, on August 22, 2018, in Cy Fair, Texas, at the age of 83. Wilma worked her whole life caring for others. She was and LVN for 46 years, working in surgery most of that time and retiring from the labor and delivery upon her retirement. Wilma was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother that enjoyed her trips with her family, especially to the beach, where she loved to fish. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Virgil Griffin and Letha Mae Savage Griffin; brothers, Gerald Wayne Griffin, Virgil Otis Griffin and Jimmy Griffin; sister, Shirley Mae Cline; granddaughter, Sandra Kay Collard. She is survived by her children: Letha Sue Ellis of Houston, Texas, Allen Ray Ellis and wife Cindy of Cypress, Texas and Gary Wayne Ellis and wife Barbra of Magnolia, Texas; grandchildren: Greggory Allen Ellis, April Lynn Ellis, Jonathan Wayne Ellis, Amber Rose Ellis, Bobby Joe Johnson, Mike Muckleroy, Kari April Blalock and Jennifer Michell Shaya ; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home, on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 5-7pm. The Celebration of Life service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel, on Monday, August 27, 2018, at 11am, with Pastor Gio Marin officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be: Allen Ellis, Gary Ellis, Bobby Joe Johnson, John Ellis, Gregg Ellis, Mike Muckelroy, Suazer Carranza and Gerald Wayne Griffin Jr.
