Suarez, Amanda Dejesus, 86, of Margate, went to be with the Lord June 30, 2016. Amanda was born October 12, 1929 in Ebejico, Colombia to the late Adan and Maria Luisa (Correa) Zapata. She was the best seamstress in the world, practicing her trade as a sample maker in retail clothing and then in later years doing alterations for those she knew and loved. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Grace Rodriguez, grandson, Edwin Colletti, sister, Georgina (Dario) Arango and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 3, 2016, 10:00 - 12:00noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home North, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach where funeral services will begin at 12:00noon.
