Anthony Robert Landi

Landi, Anthony Robert, 93, of Coral Springs, passed away December 7, 2012. Anthony was born November 25, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Dominick and Elvira (nee Destafano) Landi. He served his country honorably during WW II in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. For many years he owned and operated a retail liquor store before his retirement. Anthony was predeceased by his sons, Dominick Landi and Jack Landi. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 68 years, Theresa (nee Lupo), daughters, Elvira Garcy, Rosann (Jeff) Riddell, grandchildren, TerriAnn Marino, Anthony Garcy, Tara Riddell, Tyler Riddell, great grandchildren, Corey, Brook and gillian Hutterli, daughter-in-law, Donna Landi. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where a wake service will begin at 7:00pm with Deacon Denis Mieyal presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 13, 2012, 10:00am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 9950 NW 29th Street, Coral Springs with Fr. Flavio Montes-Colon officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Pompano City Cemetery with military honors.
