Padilla, Casto Jr., 86, of Pompano Beach, passed away September 22, 2017. Casto was born October 10, 1930 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico to the late Casto and Aurelia (Sosa) Padilla Sr. During his life he owned and operated several check cashing establishments. Casto was predeceased by his wife of over 40 years, Myrtha in 1997, son, Fred Padilla, brother, George Padilla, sisters, Rose Lopez and Salena Johnson. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons and daughters-in-law, William & Lori Padilla, Anthony & Joanne Padilla, grandchildren, Derek (Fernanda) Padilla, Jessica (Travis) Bumgarner, Joey Padilla, Johnny Padilla, great grandchildren, Jacob Padilla, Landon Bumgarner, Liv Bumgarner, sister, Nancy (Bob) Spratley and sister-in-law, Patricia Padilla. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2017, 10:30 - 12:30pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:30pm. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, North Lauderdale.
