

Ryan, David Warren, 68, of Coconut Creek, passed away November 23, 2011. David was born October 12, 1943 in Canada to the late Allan and Emma (nee Allaire) Ryan. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jeanne, children, Scott (Kristina) Sarno, Sandra (Marko) D'Avignon, Marc Sarno, grandchildren, Anthony Joseph Sarno, Amber Jeanne D'Avignon, Alanna Sofia D'Avignon and brother, Richard (Paula) Ryan.
Dave became a dad to three young children in 1987 when he married Jeanne. He worked 2-3 jobs sometimes to support Scott, Sandra and Marc. Summer vacations were spent at Lake Sebago and York Beach in Maine. In 1993, the family relocated to Florida. Dave was happy to not shovel snow anymore. There were many visits with the kids and grandkids to Disney World. And once a year he would visit with family back in Massachusetts.
A few years ago Dave retired after many years in the construction business. He looked forward to family vacations to New England, California, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and cruises to the Caribbean. One of this favorite places to visit was Alaska.
He was diagnosed with COPD but was still able to take his dog Bella and her friend Maverick for walks in the neighborhood or to the local dog park. One day in October, breathing was just too difficult for Dave. He was admitted to the hospital. After four weeks, he was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He passed away on November 23rd at the hospital with his wife and three children at his side.
