Eugene Jones

2022 in Plantation Florida with his loved ones by his side.

He was born on October 21, 1961 To his parents the late Howard and Betty Jones in

Pittsburgh, Pa.

Eugene graduated from Allderdice High School and went on to obtain an engineering degree

from Point Park College in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Eugene was a very intelligent and determined individual since a very young age. He knew how

to plan his work , and work his plan.

He was a master at setting goals and coming up with a strategic plan that he would stay

focused on until those goals were achieved.

He was a loving brother , and even though he wasn't the oldest , he was very wise , you could

always go to him for answers and solutions to your problems.

Eugene was a very hard worker , but in his spare time , he loved watching his sports . He was a

die hard steeler fan. He liked to bowl, he loved his backyard cookouts , and the casino. But most

of all he loved spending time at home with his family and he knew and loved God.

Eugene married his high school sweetheart Sheila Jones and from that union he became the

father of 3 beautiful children ( 2 ) sons , Eugene Jones Jr. , Marque Jones , (1) daughter ,

Shawnay Jones Woods (deceased). He loved his children dearly and as he often stated ,”they

were his reasons why”.

He later went on to meet Stacey Brown to whom he was engaged to and became stepfather to

Marcus.

Eugene was also a loving and devoted grandfather, affectionately known as Papa by his

grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving and beautiful daughter Shawnay Jones (Woods) , his

parents, Howard and Betty Jones and loving sister Diane Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories ; Stacey Brown (fiancee) , Eugene Jones Jr. (son), Marque

Jones (son), Marcus Brown (stepson), Sheila Jones. (6) grandchildren; Hayden , Rayne ,

Steven, Navaeh ,Prince , Busy (2) sisters; Rev. Sharon Jones Artemus , Diane Jones

(deceased) (5) brothers ; William Jones , Darrell Jones , Howard Jones Jr. Kevin Jones , Mark

Jones , Ann Marie Montgomery (stepsister) Aunts , uncles , nieces , nephews , cousins and a

host of other loved ones and friends.
