Castellano, Ignazio E., 80, of Parkland, FL went to be with the Lord June 10, 2020. Ignazio was born October 21, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Santo and Genevieve (Gallo) Castellano. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He served his community as a Police Officer until his retirement. He loved to draw and paint and woodwork with his hands. His family was very important to him and he would do anything he could to make them all happy. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Joan, daughter, Lois (Paul) Greco, son, Santo (Rebecca) Castellano, grandchildren, Cassandra (Ray Russo) Greco, Courtney Greco, Jarrett Greco, Nicholas Castellano, Luke Castellano, Jake Castellano, Rachel Castellano, Diana Castellano, great grandson, Christian Michael Russo, sister, Catherine Yaeger, and brother Matthew (Rebecca) Castellano. He also leaves his best friends Michael Mercante, John Catalano & Mario Pezzella. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2020, 5:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, 11:30am at Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church, 5980 North University Drive, Parkland, FL 33067. Interment will be Thursday, June 18, 2020, 2:00pm at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations by made in Ignazio's memory to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimers Foundation
