Leonard was a beloved husband, father, brother, friend, coworker, and dedicated manager. Known for his “lion heart,” generous spirit, and strength, he touched countless lives through his kindness, humor, and unwavering support for others.
Born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe, Leonard lived life to the fullest. His days were filled with positivity, laughter, and a deep sense of purpose. He was passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and always sought opportunities to uplift those around him. Leonard loved playing chess, cooking, hiking, traveling, and most of all, spending time with his loved ones. He had a rare gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and genuinely valued.
Leonard is survived by his loving wife, Clarisse Jackson, his children Danny, Josh, and Jeremy Jackson and his sisters Selena Locklear and Alice Williams—all of whom will carry his memory and legacy in their hearts forever.
While we grieve the immense loss of Leonard, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived and the beautiful memories he leaves behind. The family is currently observing a private period of mourning. Plans for a celebration of life will be shared at a later time.
We thank you for your continued love, support, and prayers during this time
