Di Lauro, Norma Esposito, 87, passed away December 8, 2013. Norma was born on December 9, 1925 in Queens, New York to the late Dominic and Marie (nee Izzi) Romagna. For many years, she was a teaching assistant in elementary education. Norma is predeceased by both her husbands, Jerome Esposito in 1980 and Jerry Di Lauro in 2006. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Jerry (Anita) Esposito, Debbie Higgins, grandchildren, Jerry (Jody) Esposito, Jaclyn (Von) Stertzbach, great grandchildren, Shea & Blake Esposito and Tyler & Mason Stertzbach. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2013, 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00pm at Tamarac Burial and Cremation Center, 6701 West Commercial Blvd., Tamarac where a prayer service will begin at 7:00pm with Deacon Angelo Gervasi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. John Paszko on Friday, December 13, 2013, 10:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4701 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs. Interment with her husband, Jerome Esposito, will immediately follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park, Ft. Lauderdale.
