

Oscar Bellocchio, a generous, honest, and humorous individual, passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on October 25, 1929, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Oscar was the beloved son of Victor and Clarissa Bellocchio, both of whom predeceased him. He was a resident of Coral Springs, Florida.
Oscar attended St. George's College in Quilmes, Argentina, where he laid the foundation for a successful career. He became a traveling salesman specializing in pharmaceuticals and ladies' shoe wear, a profession that allowed him to engage with people from all walks of life.
In 1964, Oscar married Maria Eugenia Bellocchio, who predeceased him. Together, they raised two children: Marcelo Bellocchio, who resides in New York with his spouse Robin, and Paulina Bellocchio, who lives with her spouse German Bravo. Oscar was a proud grandfather to Cecilia, Andrea, Claudia, Alexandria, Andrew Joseph, and Sophia.
Oscar's love for jazz music was a significant part of his life and played a role in bringing him to the United States. He was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying soccer, squash, and rugby.
His commitment to community service was evident through his leadership of the food ministry at St. Isidro Catholic Church in Pompano Beach, where he served for ten years.
Oscar's life will be celebrated with a visitation on July 21, 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Kraeer Funeral Home, located at 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. A Prayer Service will follow from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the same location. The committal service will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, from 1:00 pm to 1:15 pm.
Oscar Bellocchio will be remembered for his warmth, his vibrant personality, and his heartfelt connection to his Argentine roots, as he often expressed through the words, "Si, Si, Señores soy Argentino - Si, Si, Señores soy de Verdad ..."
