Patrick William Magarelli

Patrick William Magarelli, a cherished resident of Coconut Creek, Florida, passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on September 28, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, Patrick was the beloved son of the late Patrick and Fanny (Galeota) Magarelli. He was their only child.

Patrick was a brave and proud veteran, having served in the US Navy from 1969 to 1973. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, honors that he held in high regard. Following his military service, Patrick attended college and pursued a career in management within the automotive industry.

On July 22, 1981, Patrick married Barbara Bonadonna in Staten Island, New York. Together, they built a family that included his children, Jessica and Jeannine, who predeceased him, and his step-children Suzanne, Lori (Gennaro), Jamie (Kim), and Michael (Dawn). Patrick was also a proud grandfather to Leo, Lilly, Nicholas, Jonathan (Kayla), Rio, John, James, Alexis, Joseph (Alanna), Gennaro, Denise, Michael, Aliyah, Gianna, and Michael, and a great-grandfather to Anthony.

Patrick was a gentle soul, a die-hard Republican who loved watching Fox News. He had a passion for engaging with people, often being the life of the party with his conversations and presence.

A visitation will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071, on September 28, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A prayer service, with military honors, will also take place at the same venue from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Patrick William Magarelli will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
