When we met I was only 27, and you were 45. I really wasn’t sure it would last, but from our very first date you believed we would always be together.
I am sure there were some who had bet against us back then, yet in spite of that we were able to make it to just short of 39 beautiful years together.
In that time we shared lots of wonderful memories filled with love and laughter, along with some sorrow and tears. We enjoyed travel and adventure, and more than our fair share of pain and suffering. We had some huge challenges and we jumped over lots of hurdles, but through it all we were able to make it through.
I am so grateful to you for loving me so completely, so unconditionally and so selflessly. You were a very generous man to me, as well as to all your family and friends. You set a great example and you make us want to be better people for knowing you.
I was so fortunate to feel loved and adored, cherished, desired, supported and respected by you.
You always said “I was the greatest love of your life” and “I was the best thing that ever happened to you” and that’s how you made me feel everyday.
Anyone that knows us felt it too. You also gave me a wonderful gift, a family with 2 wonderful sons, and a beautiful daughter, 8 loving grandchildren and very soon we will be welcoming our 9th
Honey, you have made me so incredibly happy all my life. I will never forget you. I will never stop loving you. I will carry you with me everyday of my life. As long as I live, I will remember you. We will speak of you often.
I will miss you so much. I’m not sure how I will get through life without you. Goodbye my love.
I hope it’s true that someday we will meet again.
Always and forever your adoring wife,
This is love... XOXO ❤️

I was looking forward to meeting you
But you were called to sit with the King
now I have a guardian angel watching over me
I love you always
-your great granddaughter (soon to come in February)

The moment that you died my heart was torn in two one side filled with heartache the other dies with you. I love you Dad. I have been lying awake at night to take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. I love you Dad.
Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday but missing you is heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain until the day arrives that we will meet again. I love you Dad and I will always be your little girl.

I won't immortalize you in the stars because they fade away
I won't remember you with a poem for it will be forgotten one day
I will just keep you safe in my heart so that you are with me in every way...
