

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosemary Young, our loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Rosemary brought happiness, comfort and love to all who came into her life. Rosemary departed this life at 81 years old, on November 20, 2025. She leaves us behind with cherished memories of kindness, humor, generosity, and unwavering love.
Born and raised in Cincinnati OH, moving to South Florida in 1969, she touched the lives of so many with her warmth, compassion, and wholesome love and dedication to all of those that surrounded her. Rosemary was always ready with a helping hand, a kind word and a listening ear, she was a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rosemary had a passion for her Ohio State Buckeyes. Her heart was full of love for her children and granddaughters. Her laughter, warmth, and gentle guidance will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Rosemary is survived by her loving family, children Dana Townsend and Todd Young (Carla), her granddaughters, Brianna, Amber and Kaylee, her former husband and forever friend, Clifford, her loving sister, Jean Ann Ruble, her nephews, Jeff, Steve (Cassie) and Rick, nieces Kim (Brian) and Shawn (AJ). She was proceeded in death by her parents, Virgil and Marie Segale. We will forever remember her love and enjoy the memories we will continue to share to celebrate the joyous life that she lived.
Though Rosemary is no longer with us, her love and happiness will live in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness and love. Rosemary will always rest in peace, comfort and happiness. May our memories and love that we hold remain as clear in our hearts tomorrow as they do today.
A gathering of Rosemary's family and friends will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064 on December 13th, 2025 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm to celebrate her life that she loved so much.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
