Serge Joseph-Denis Ratthy

Serge is survived by his wife Carolyn Ratthy; children, Gennifer Resseguie, Kevin Ratthy, Keith Ratthy, and Stephen Ratthy; step-children Carey Bulleman, Curtis Bulleman, Christian Bulleman, and Corey Bulleman, along with his 14 beloved grandchildren; siblings, Lyne Ratthy, Peter Ratthy, and Daniel Ratthy. He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph Ratthy and Georgette Ratthy.

Serge was born on March 31, 1955 in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada to Ralph Ratthy and Georgette Ratthy and spent his childhood in Quebec. After moving to Florida with his father in 1975, Serge established his pest control company that has remained successful through the decades. He married Carolyn in 1984 and they established a life with their children together in South Florida. His children remember him as a fun-loving and hard-working father. Serge was accomplished not only in his pest control business, but was a talented wood worker, craftsman, handy man, mechanic, guitarist, and lover of muscle cars and Rock and Roll. Serge loved his children most of all, and will be deeply missed.

A closed funeral is scheduled for family only at Kraeer Funeral Home in Coral Springs, Florida on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Others wishing to join the service may do so via Zoom using link to be posted. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers using link to be posted.
