Thelma Martin was born to the late Joseph and Elsie Martin in Georgetown, Guyana on September 21st, 1933. She was married to Rodwell Munroe. Her children are Winette Scott, Courtney Munroe and the late Aubrey Munroe. In addition to her two surviving children, Thelma’s family include: Son in Law George Scott, Daughter in Law Janelle Munroe, and eight grandchildren: Jason Scott, Jonathan Scott, Djavan Munroe, Kaleel Munroe, Mikayla Munroe, Kesann Charles, Ella Munroe, and Nina Munroe. Her nieces and nephews include Carleta, Haydock, Terrence, Murlyn , Alma, Chubby, Wayne and Desmond.
She will join relatives who have passed on including her siblings, Gwynne Roberts and Wendell Martin, her son Aubrey Munroe, and husband Rodwell Munroe, nephews Haydock and Terrence Martin.
A funeral service will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071-6026, on April 12, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Following the service, a reception will take place at the same location from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
