Annette (Quenneville) Cooper

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Annette Vitaline Cooper (née Quenneville), with her children and sister by her side at Heartwood Long Term Care Home in Cornwall on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the age of 88 years.

Annette was predeceased by her spouses Adrien Lascelle, Carson Cooper, and Corgan Godard. She was the loving and devoted mother of Joanne Carbonnell (Normand), Richard Lascelle (Paulette), and Dianne Gauthier (Daniel).

Cherished grandmother of Dan Carbonnell (Millissa), Gerald Carbonnell (Jennifer Malyon), Marie-Josée “Mimi” Menard (Jason), Matthieu Gauthier (Angela Perry), Dominic Gauthier and Stephanie Gauthier (Scott Nelson).

Proud great grandmother of Heaven Smith (Joshua), Callista “Calli” Carbonnell, Codey Ryan, Izzy Ryan, Tyler Fournier (Kyanna Johnson), Adrien Carbonnell, and Rosabelle Menard. She was also a beloved great-great grandmother to Kai, Aldyn, and Kaelum.

She was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Anne Lascelle and her granddaughter Jennifer Anne Lascelle.

Dear sister of Jeanne D’Arc “Jeannie” Sturgeon, Jackie Quenneville, Denise Gagnon (Richard), Diane Bergeron (late-Ken), Raoul Quenneville (Sharron), and Lionel Jr. “Canoe” Quenneville (Rose), and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Lionel Quenneville and Alice (née Lauzon), and by her siblings Henri Quenneville (late-Charmaine), Adelard Quenneville (late-Margaret), Marcel Quenneville (late- Sylvia), Dorianne “Doodie” Proulx (late- Victor), Rose-Marie Legault (late-Richard), and Dorilla Quenneville.

She was also predeceased by her brothers and sister-in-laws, Leo Lascelle (late-Aleatha Jodoin, late- Leona Jodoin), Maurice Lascelle (late-Theresa Labelle), Adolphe Lascelle, and Irene Major (née Lascelle) (late-Arnold), and leaves behind many nieces and nephews of the Lascelle family.

Annette was deeply loved by the residents, families and staff at Heartwood Long Term Care Home. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Nurse Practitioner John Maru Tamus, Dr. Menard, and the compassionate staff for their exceptional care and kindness. Special thanks to PSWs Angela, Tiffany, Kristen, Amanda, Rosanna, Lindah, Lorena, Shannon, Tonya, Stacey, Chelsea, Kelsey, April, Kevin, Kim, Deep and many others; to RPNs Jessica, Sanjeeve, Cassidy and Josh; and to nurses ReJane, Rani and many other RPNs and nurses. Your care and dedication will never be forgotten. The family also extends thanks to the management team.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan East Branch (613-933-2841). Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home, located at 614 First Street East, on Thursday, April 16 from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m., and on Friday, April 17 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church (321 Tollgate Rd E). Burial will follow at Notre-Dame Cemetery (17945 S Branch Rd).
