Peacefully at St Joseph’s Villa on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Emilie Roy (nee Paulin) of Cornwall; age 94 years. Survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Rodolphe (Rudy) Roy. Lovingly remembered by godchildren Celeste Bailey (nee Paulin), Marcel Forget, and Dena Robertson (nee McCaig). Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Delima Paulin (nee Couroux) and her brother Ludovic (Vic) Paulin (Verna). Emilie will be missed by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and her husband’s family. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for their kindness, support and care. The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613.933.2841) on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall.
