Gilles Houde

At peace resting with his beloved wife Thérèse Laura Houde (née Mayer).

Son of the late Alfred Houde and Anna Verville. Loving father of Raymond Houde (Catherine), Roger Houde (Susan), Louise Lapensée (Gerald), Michel Houde (Lynne) and André Houde (Carole). Cherished grandfather of nine, and great-grandfather of thirteen. Dear brother of Rhéal Houde. Predeceased by his brother Émilien Houde, and sisters Réjeanne Houde, Florianne Prince (Houde), Corona Carrière (Houde), Isabelle Davidson (Houde), Adrienne Nadeau (Houde), Jeanne D’Arc Davidson (Houde), Françoise Renaud (Houde), Solange Deguire (Houde), Monique Houde, and Olivette St-Amour (Houde).

Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes East Branch, 614 First Street East, Cornwall (613-933-2841) on Thursday February 20 from 7p.m to 9p.m, and Friday February 21 from 9a.m until service time. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday February 21 at 11a.m in St. Félix de Valois Parish, 620 Glengarry Blvd, Cornwall. Inurnment at Notre Dame Cemetery will take place after the Funeral Mass.

We would like to thank all the staff at Southbridge Home-Cotton Mill for all their dedication, compassion and great care for our Dad. You were wonderful.

A heartfelt thank you to Bishop Luc Bouchard for all his blessings, prayers and support during his stay at the home.
