Jeannette Bissonnette

She is resting peacefully alongside her husband, Bernard Bissonnette. Jeannette will be forever remembered as a loving mother to Michel “Mike” (Suzan), Linda Roy (Marc), Denis (Karen), Alain (Marlene), and Chantal Latour (Correy).

Cherished grandmother to Daniel (Tania), Robert (Martine), Andrew (Robin), Véronique (Cory), Renée-Anne (Mathieu), Ashley (Kevin), Josée (Mitch), Jacob (Jenna) and Jeremy (Emily). Treasured great-grandmother to Sam, Vienna, Claudia, Odin, Dominic, Elizabeth, Penelope, Emmett and Jaxton.

Born on August 22nd, 1935 in Cornwall, Ontario. Jeannette was the beloved daughter of the late Edgar Goulet and Lorida Carriere. She was predeceased by her sisters Reina, Lorraine, Doris and her brothers Edgar (Ti-gar) and Robert (Pete).

Jeannette’s warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Funeral Home - East Branch (614 First Street East, Cornwall) on Friday, December 5th, 2025, from 9:00 am until the time of service. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home’s chapel at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Notre-Dame cemetery (17945 South Branch Road, South Stormont). Following the interment, a luncheon will be served at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
