My sincere condolences to Keith’s family. I had the privilege 
to serve Keith every Tuesday afternoon at Olympia Bowl.
Keith was a kind individual and very friendly always had a 
kind word for everyone.

It was my pleasure to be there for Keith and his family.  I am honored to have had the pleasure to have met this wonder gentleman.  Keith.... May you rest in the arms of angels.

Of course, there were numerous overnight visits to the farm in Summerstown to see the family. HOW MANY HOURS OF EUCHRE CAN YOU PLAY IN ONE WEEKEND. !!!!????? 😳😳😳😳

I was most impressed by Keith’s positive attitude and happy disposition. My first wife Johanna and I named Keith, our son after him because of our admiration for him. 
I regret that I had not been closer to Keith after my Aunt’s passing. Life got busy and I lost contact with him and unfortunately, we became “family that you only see at weddings and funerals”. 

I will always remember his loud positive voice when he wanted to make a point or when he was teasing someone or joking around. I often remember him and Jeanette and the warm loving relationship that you could feel between them. 
Not sure of everything that it means but  ….  A reoccurring dream I have had over the years has me standing, looking over the fields on his family farm, with my love in my arms, feeling a sense of contentment. 
I will always endeavour to “be like him” and be happy that I found the happy relationship that he and Jeanette shared. 
They will always be in my memories. 

In the above text, I refer to my uncle simply as Keith, as that is how we addressed each other as years went on because of my working relationship with him and as we were never that far apart in age  …. or sense of humour 😊.

All of below is to the best of my recollection which is becoming less reliable as I get on in years. It is open for correction. I apologize in advance for any errors or omissions. 

I likely would have first “formally” met my Uncle Keith in Cornwall in 1963 when he married my Aunt Jeanette, my mom’s youngest sister. My family lived in London. Not sure of the relationship that I had with them but about a year or more later, they invited me to stay with them for a week or so at the old farmhouse, a mile or two west of the main farmhouse. I would have been only 11 or 12 but I remember liking Keith right away being enamoured by this fairly newly married couple. So much so that when my parents came to pick me up at the end of my stay, I exclaimed to them that when I got older, I wanted to be in a relationship with someone like my aunt and be like my uncle (“be just like them”, I think were a few of the words I used).

Time passed, and soon after, they left the farm and came to live in London where my family was. Keith got a job at St Joseph’s hospital as the kitchen manager and supervisor and Jeanette went to work at the McClary Appliance factory on Dundas street. They had an apartment on Highbury Ave in London where they lived until they found a house to rent not far from where we lived in the west end. 
Our families were tight and I think some of my mom and dad’s happiest times were spent while together with Keith and Jeanette. We grew close. I would even babysit Julie for them when needed. 
When I turned 16 and needed something more than my paper route to support my hobbies, Keith hired me to work at the hospital, in the kitchen part time after school and on weekends. We worked together for a few years until they decided to head back to Summerstown to take over the farm again.

We are so very sorry for your loss! Thinking if you at this time!

My sympathies to all the family. I spent most of my growing up years living next door to Keith. He loved his hockey and playing cards. Many a night in the winter he would come over to play Euchre. He will definitely be missed.

You embraced us with open arms when we invaded the tranquility of your lives in 2006. The generosity of spirit that you and your entire family showed us was just what we all needed to feel at home quickly on Gore Road. We have so many fond memories, most involving cards, maple syrup and Jeanette’s doughnuts. Thanks for being our friend. Rest easy with your gorgeous wife until we meet once more.
