My sinceres condolences to the family.  I worked with Linda at the last Federal election. She was a wonderful lady to work with.   Always smiling.  She was very meticulous, ready to help everyone.  She had a big heart.  You could see she loved working with all of us.   She will be missed.

We shared a birthday and you never forgot. Sweet, thoughtful and generous, you will be missed most especially at Election time. Not sure how many years we all worked together but you were always a shining light for every one of them. And the treats! You added sweetness every day..a nibble of this, a nibble of that..to go with the coffee you brought us. You will certainly be missed and we have only wonderful memories of our times together.

Glenn and I are so very sad to hear of Linda's passing and we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and dear friends. We will very much miss both Linda and Dan and their worshipful spirits. We know how their mutual faith in the face of adversity was an inspiration to so many, including us. Her God given creativity, the shared food, music and laughter, and most of all, a loving and giving heart is a legacy that will live on through each member of the family and the extended family that Linda loved so much.

She influenced so many in our family… she wore her heart on her sleeve… you knew exactly who she was with no deception… she truly represented Jesus compassionate heart towards people and did not judge. She’s rejoicing with Dan… dancing and singing… they both loved to worship. She is missed but we have the hope of rejoicing with her one day. Our prayers  are with the families.

What do you say about someone who played a foundational part in your life? Linda and I first met when I was only four and she was but a newborn who lay there blithely kicking her legs with unconcerned concentration. We were both the eldest daughters of sisters and called each other’s mother ‘aunt’. We had the same set of four great aunts who lived together on Belmore Ave of Montreal, in the old family house that I privately told myself should be called ‘Ant Hill’. Linda and I deeply loved the same grandparents. The two of us shared our summers in Mont Tremblant, where our grandparents owned a country property. When up there, the two of us swam together and went boating and learned to build campfires. We lived through the same social upheavals and changes. When we became adults, it was Linda who stood by my side as my bridesmaid. We often lived in different cities but Linda and I remained highly aware of what was going on in each other’s lives. It was a comfort to know there was always someone to whom we could reach out, whether in joy or sorrow. I will miss her. I will miss having someone who remembers the same people and places and anecdotes. I wish her children and grandchildren could know how adorable she looked as a little one, how she was pretty as a picture at my wedding and how I have always admired the way the problems of life never soured her. It shows great courage to face difficulties without becoming embittered.

Chris, Hayden, Connor and myself, send you all our deepest  condolences .  Grandma Linda and Grandpa Dan, as the boys called them, had a profound influence on our boys, enriching  their lives with a deep appreciation for music.    They also learned how to swim.  They both offered all the children in their care the very best.  We will miss her terribly.  Fly high sweet angel❤️

It is certainly with heavy hearts that we offer our sympathies to you all. We have been neighbors with Linda and Dan for almost 40 years. We shared the joys of their children and grandchildren. They were both great neighbors and friends. We find comfort that Linda was greeted by Dan in heaven and off they went to play and listen to music. Linda’s recent illness was so  challenging and she fought a good fight. I know you will all miss her in your life. May she rest in peace.

Linda, I am so happy I made it over to surprise you a few weeks ago…your smile has always lit up a room, and your kindness never went unnoticed! You cared for everyone, and I know you were greeted by the Lord “well done good and faithful servant!” I’m sure Dan wasn’t far behind to run to you and give you a big welcoming hug, and show you around the place! We all love you and will cherish our many memories!

Linda!  Such a sweet soul. I remember when I first moved to Cornwall, how genuinely welcomed you made me feel right from the start. You had such a gift for making people feel at home. My deepest condolences to your family during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies to all of Linda’s family and relatives living in Alberta. I have known Linda for a very long time and it is so sad to hear of her passing. I knew Linda’s mother, Dawn, and her aunt, Joyce, who I treasured as very special people and who played a very important role in my life. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Linda and Dan were huge influences on my kids early years. Playing in the pool, scrapbooking, singing along with Dan, running up and down the basement stairs… Linda’s life affected so many people. Her light shines within my own kids. She’ll be missed.  My sincerest condolences to you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. My late husband and I had many moments of laughter and music with your parents.  Your mom loved you all so very much.
