HOUDE, Thérèse Laura (née Mayer) – passed away on Saturday July 27, 2024 at her residence at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of Gilles Houde. Loving mother of Raymond Houde (Catherine), Roger Houde (Susan), Louise Lapensée (Gerald), Michel Houde (Lynne) and André Houde (Carole). Cherished grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of thirteen. Daughter of the late Emile and Yvonne (née Villemaire) Mayer. Survived by siblings Fernand Mayer, Marielle Leroux, René Mayer and Richard Mayer. Predeceased by sisters Jeannette O’Neil and Lucille Landry and by one brother Maurice Mayer. Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, 614 First Street E., Cornwall (613-933-2841) on Wednesday August 21, 2024 from 2 pm to 4pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 22, 2024 at 11 am in St. Félix de Valois Parish.
