Wilhelmus Mesman

He leaves behind his loving wife Rejeanne (Surprenant) Mesman; his son Daniel (Rochelle) Mesman; daughters: Suzanne (Tom) Reed, Sandra (Terry) Hric and Catharine Devitt. Eight grandchildren: Melissa (Tyler) Lacertosa, Charlotte and Matthe Mesman, Cassandra and K-Lee Hric, Sara (Sean Lalonde), Tracy (Joshua Morrow) and Jessica Tiessen. Eight great-grandchildren: Luca and Cora Lacertosa, Joshawa, Hayleigh and Avery Wall, Brittney, Erik and Oliver Tiessen.

He also leaves behind his brother Martin, Tom (Ardele) Ben and his sister Ellie (Murray) MacLachlan; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Jeanne, Odette, Lucien (Rita), Annette Sauve, Robert, Gerard (Sylvia), Marie, Donald (Lucie), Lyse (Andre) Diotte, Nicole (Yvon) Laniel, Yvon (Judy), Colette (Bob) Stuckless, Berthe Duquette, and Michel (Murielle) Surprenant.

He will be missed by a large number of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, Martinus and Maria (Loogman) Mesman; his brothers: Peter (Mary), Leo (Geertrude), Robert (Marie), Fred (Marilyn) Mesman; his sister Tiny (Wim) Wempe. His daughter Linda (Randy) Rodney and their son Steven; his father and mother-in-law, Donat and Aline (Bourdeau) Surprenant; his sister-in-law Jeannine (Roger) Hebert and his brothers-in-law Jean-Paul, Aurele and Claude Surprenant.

Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN EAST BRANCH 614 FIRST STREET E, CORNWALL, on Saturday March 14, 2026 between the hours of 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home on Sunday March 15, 2026, at 2:00PM.
